This yarn says its a 4 ply, but I think its a bit thicker the tension on the ball is 25 sts and 44 rows on 3.5 needles so I think you could adapt it to a 5 or 8 ply pattern too. Just do a tension sq to be sure.
There is 900 metres on this 220 g ball, so heaps to do a giant shawl, 2 ball would do a gorgeous knee rug or baby blanket.
