This is my tribute to the fires of 2019/2020, as a CFA firefighter, I was inspired to create a shawl with leaves of regeneration and flames in it. The original shawl I have knitted is using a one of a kind hand dyed yarn called From the Ashes by a local Indie Dyer called Ozefamer, and some red alpaca.
After some extensive searching I have come up with these lovely colourways in some gorgeous yarns.
The kit will include 1 x 100 g and 1 x 50 g of yarn and the pattern.
The pattern is called free and easy, because we give you artistic licence to do your own thing after we have given you all the tools to go it alone.
This is Araucania Huasco sock kettle dyed with a skein of extra fine merino silk. Yuuuuuuummmmm.
This is Araucania Huasco sock kettle dyed with a ball of Inca Spun Heritage sock wool (alpaca Blend) This red ball is what I put in my sample.
